Anthony Bourdain famously said he could never find anything good to eat in Denver, had Cafe Miriam been around, he would have eaten his words... or a crepe.
This place is fast becoming a staple of the City Park neighborhood and for good reason. If you're into gourmet crepes and locally sourced coffee and pastries, you'll really like this place. But if you're also into the feel of a small Moroccan cafe with a gregarious owner who will remember you by name, you, like many others, will do what it takes to vie for one of the scarcely open tables at Cafe Miriam. It's owner, Touhami ElFahdi, is effortlessly social and takes pride in introducing members of the community to their neighbors. As a result, the atmosphere at Cafe Miriam makes the bar from Cheers seem unwelcoming.

I can only reiterate what the other Yelpers have said in the reviews below! This place is not only a humble establishment, but with an amazing owner like Touhani, this restaurant provides a unique experience that reflects the true spirit of Denver.
My boyfriend and I ordered a Cappuccino, Lox on Bagel, and a Prosciutto Crepe. My boyfriend loved his bagel and cappuccino and I inhaled my crepe. The crepe itself is not as thin as crepes that I am used to; however, I actually enjoyed how it was thicker and a bit chewy. I loved the melted cheese and the prosciutto together. All the flavors were classic and everything tasted great! The food didn't blow my mind but it was good! Overall, the experience as a whole was amazing and very worthy of 5 stars.
The real gem of this establishment is Touhani. He was so friendly and so genuine!!!! He didn't even ring us up until after we ate our food and he said "Don't worry about it! Honor system!" It was great to meet and talk with someone that really prioritizes customer service and has so much love for his daughter (named the cafe after his daughter Miriam). I will recommend this place to anyone who visits Denver! -

I'm sad to say I dined at Cafe Miriam recently for lunch and had a mediocre experience. The place itself is very cute--it's a small shop with a couple of seats inside and outside, with plenty of books and art displayed from local artists. We ordered the caprese sandwich, a savory prosciutto crepe, and a dulce de leche crepe to share between two people. The savory crepe was passable, but the caprese sandwich was pretty disappointing--instead of slices of whole mozzarella like I was expecting, it came out with shredded mozzarella. Plus, on the menu it stated that all sandwiches came with a side salad, but I was served grapes (that weren't even washed; I had to wipe off dirt with a napkin).
On top of this, our food took quite a while to come out, and for some reason the sweet crepe was made first. I sat there watching as the ice cream melted, waiting for the caprese sandwich to be made last before they brought out our whole order. We had to eat the sweet crepe quickly before all the ice cream became liquefied.
On the plus side, I will say that the owner seemed friendly, and the sweet crepe was delicious and came with surprise bananas (this was not advertised on the menu--?). But I was hoping for more ice cream, as it only came with two tiny scoops and the photos made it look like it should have been a more generous serving. -

Awesome breakfast/brunch spot on the weekends. Keep in mind they are only open Fri-Sun but if you are at City Park or in the West City Park neighborhood you should drop by.
The crepes are fantastic, my favorite is the All American but also like the nutella with fruit. The Breakfast sandwich on the croissant is fantastic as well. The coffee and espresso quality is top European style.
The best part is the friendly staff and owner, Touhami. Don't miss out on this place. -

Excellent staff, cozy atmosphere. Expected a little more eggs to the savory crepes, but still really good.
